One of the elevated stone flowerbeds at the entrance of the parking lot behind Koffee Kat. I prefer flowers. Last year the flowerbeds were never seeded, just barren soil. Another year without any plants? Good spots for litter like beer and soda cans.
Veterans Memorial, Trinity Park, Plattsburgh, NY
Dogshit in the park never stops but it's really insulting when it's strewn along three sides of a memorial for veterans. Security cameras with warning signs announcing people are being monitored could cut down on the problem. But it has to be backed up by enforcement, handing out fines.
Day 2 and counting.
This delightful photogenic subject was left on a park bench near City Hall. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen bags like this, they’re all over. Does Plattsburgh City have a bagged dogshit pickup service? Is that why someone feels entitled to leave such items behind? Picking up after your dog doesn’t mean skipping over proper disposal. Health hazard, anyone? Time to run a PSA or news articles about the problem and jacking up the fines for lazy dog owners.
