Disrespecting Veterans

PLATTSBURGH CITY, NY - 4/9/14

The above photo was sent to me by a reader on April 8.  Kristine Cheyne wrote:

I checked out the location earlier today - the sidewalk bordering the Veterans Monument in Trinity Park - and the mess is still there.  Will the new mayor crack down on this?  It’s not as if City Hall is unaware of what is going on.

I haven’t posted to this blog in a while not because Plattsburgh City’s dogshit problem has improved.  Let’s say I’m tired of the same old crap.

But if any readers out there have photos they want to share, email me: luketbush[at]gmail[dot]com.  I don’t want anything really nauseating, e.g., extreme closeups, but shots that show the setting and have enough detail to reveal that the material is not mud.  Maybe if someone else's voice is heard that might motivate the Powers That Be.  Include the time, date, and location where you found the canine litter or anything else that shows Plattsburgh is not as clean as some pretend.

Problems don’t go away if you deny they exist.
