The Westelcom Park between Margaret and Durkee streets is posted with NO DOGS ALLOWED signs. Years ago the Press-Republican ran an article about the sad state of the park: the lawn was dotted with dog doo-doo. This park at one time used to be the spot for various performances -- plays, movies, etc. Now it's just become another free range dogshit zone.
